Echaka Monjok is a young, Nigerian born, Houston raised woman. She graduated from Texas State University with a B.S in Mass Communications/Electronic Media. She then got her M.A in Film & Media Production at the New York Film Academy, NYFA. Writing and directing is something she loves and got more involved in during her undergraduate years. Echaka took a screenwriting and directing class during her senior year at Texas state. Those classes changed her life because she realized this is what she wants to do until she retires. She strives to continue pursuing a career in Film/TV, and tell stories that make an impact.
