NYFA Acting Alum Amir Rahim's short film project premiering at the 17th Monterrey International Film Festival

'Can You Love Me Most?' - A short film about a baby trafficking syndicate in Malaysia that sells a baby to a couple who have been unable to conceive their own. Soon, they find the renewed joy that had since been lost over the past years of their marriage - as told through the perspective of the baby.


Amir Rahim, a NYFA Acting Alum plays a supporting role in this short film. His character's name is Mat and he is one of the traffickers responsible for trafficking babies to prospect ‘clients’. This film is directed by Feisal Azizuddin, produced by Iskander Azizzudin & Syazzik under Feisk Productions.


The 17th Monterrey Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cine Monterrey) will take place from August 16th-29th, 2021 in Mexico. This film is competing in the international short film category. This festival is the first selection that this film got, and is being submitted to various other film festivals. This film was shot entirely in Malaysia.
