Brazilian Filmmaker and NYFA Filmmaking Alum, Lucas Paz premiered his latest directing project, the music video for  the new hit “Quem é teu baby?" by Leopold Nunan feat. Sonia Santos and Ana Gazzola at the LOS ANGELES BRAZILIAN FILM FESTIVAL at the Harmony Gold Theater.

The music in “Quem é teu baby? " is based on a Brazilian rhythm called Côco mixed with jazz and Latin music. It screened in front of a prestigious audience of filmmakers and film industry producers at the heart of Hollywood, with delightful presence of Fernando Meirelles (Two Popes, Netflix) and Carlos Saldanha (Rio, Blue Sky Studios).

NYFA Alum Lucas Paz has two short films produced at NYFA that are on Amazon Prime “A Touch of Aurora“ , starring Thaila Ayala and Al Danuzio (acting alumni), and “Faithful”.  He's directed campaigns for Asurion, music videos and films, produced shows for Discovery +, ESPN, commercials, and worked as actor for shows like "Superpumped" with Uma Thurman and "Reasonable Doubt" on Hulu.

Lucas Paz: "It was such a privilege to screen to a full house with industry peers at the Harmony Gold Theatre and I got new contracts for upcoming music videos."
