Hi, I'm Nourah Al Hasawi, a Kuwaiti filmmaker, producer, and director with a passion for storytelling and a background that has allowed me to train and work internationally. My journey began with the Young Filmmakers Academy at MetFilm School in the UK in 2016 and continued at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, where I earned a BFA in Filmmaking followed by an MFA in Producing Film & TV.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work across a variety of roles, including Producer, Line Producer, Unit Production Manager, Production Coordinator, Director, Location Manager, and Casting Coordinator. I've contributed to projects ranging from narrative films and documentaries to music videos, commercials, and digital media productions, developing a strong appreciation for every stage of the filmmaking process.
What I enjoy most about this industry is collaboration. I believe in creating positive working environments built on clear communication, transparency, and mutual respect. Whether I'm helping shape a project in development, managing production logistics, or bringing stories to life behind the camera, I value the relationships and teamwork that make filmmaking possible.
Today, alongside continuing my work in film and media, I'm also the Co-Founder and Platform Operations Director of INTAJCO, a database created to connect talent, crew, productions, locations, and equipment across the MENA entertainment industry. I'm always excited to meet fellow creatives, collaborate on new projects, and continue learning from the ever-evolving world of storytelling.
