Everyone wants their film to play great festivals- so what can filmmakers do throughout the creative process to create a film that will get their attention? Join us for a panel discussion with industry professionals about how everything from initial concept to post-production can enhance a film’s festival potential. Panelists: Tracey Adlai, founder of the Valley Film Festival, Ariana Farina, co-chair of the Narrative Features Programming and senior producer at Dances with Films and Amos Glick, writer, producer and star of A Man Wakes Up, award-winner and official selection at Dances With Films, Taos Shortz Napa Valley and other festivals. Presented by Denise Carlson, producing instructor and director of the Industry Speaker Series and moderated by Crickett Rumley, NYFA screenwriting instructor and director of the Film Festival Department. Pizza will be served at 7:00pm and the panel will begin at 7:30pm.
